Lelsa
Lelsa is a sub-district of the Tinderet estate in Kericho, Kenya. Located just off the equator and at high altitude, Lelsa's teas are consistently prized for their purity of flavour, round robust character and malty Kenyan edge that takes milk exceptionally well. The estate is a relative newcomer to the Kenyan tea scene and the lands used for the gardens once grew eucalyptus, the faint hints of which are said to colour the profile of the tea. This tea presents notes of jam with a light floral character and assertive astringency.
