A great pick-me-up, this is a captivating and distinctive green tea with a body that starts light but has a tart and persistent finish. This northern Taiwanese gem produces a straw-coloured infusion with a robust dried grass and faintly smoky aroma. Named for its characteristic pellets, Gunpowder tealeaves are carefully selected and rolled into tight nuggets which results in a tea that is more dense than others and keeps much longer.
